Valterra is exploring for high-grade mineral deposits in British Columbia, Canada. The Company is well structured with an experienced geologic team, management group, and Board of Directors.
The Company is active in south-eastern BC and controls over 12,000 hectares. Key holdings include the Star Project: “Star”, “Toughnut”, and “Rozan” located southwest of Nelson BC. This project area encompasses over 3,995 hectares covering five Au-Ag-polymetallic mineralized zones. The zones are structurally aligned in a 3.5 km belt situated near the provinces first lode mine, the ca. 1888 Silver King mine. Additionally, the Company has earned a 60% interest in the >8,050 hectare ”Swift Katie” porphyry Cu-Au property, located in the same southeast region as the Star poject, near the village of Salmo, BC.
The project areas have excellent infrastructure with major highways nearby, established access routes on-site, proximal high capacity power infrastructure, and a skilled regional workforce (pop. >25,000 in the district).
Since 2007, the Company has actively explored and expanded within the Nelson-Salmo corridor. Valterra has completed over 9,250 metres of diamond drilling, conducted 810 line-kilometres of heli-borne geophysics, and undertaken a variety of mapping-prospecting-sampling programs.
